We offer private lessons to children and adults each week at Weld Like A Girl™ in all sorts of welding and cutting processes:
Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) = MIG = wire welding
Gas TungstenArc Welding (GTAW) = TIG = Heliarc welding
Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) = Stick = Arc welding
Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW) = Flux-core (self-shielded and gas-shielded)
Plasma Arc Cutting (PAC) = Plasma
Oxyfuel Cutting, Welding, Heating & Brazing (OAC, OAW, etc.)
- Please let us know in advance what type of welding or cutting you would like to learn so we can ensure we have all necessary materials on hand.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
WHAT TO WEAR:
- Jeans, cotton t-shirt and closed-toe shoes (leather shoes or boots preferred; tennis shoes are OK; no sandals); please ensure ankles and feet are completely covered.
- We provide use of all safety gear including safety glasses, welding jackets, gloves and welding helmets.
