DESCRIPTION:\n\nFrom prickly pear to beavertail... your opuntia is our obje
 ctive. We will help you create a pokey cactus masterpiece approximately 2'
  tall\, with or without horseshoe nails. Desert rats\, winter visitors\, D
 unes dogs\, botanists\, metal junkies and all other cactus lovers welcome.
 \n\nOVERVIEW\n\n 	ALL classes begin with safety! Participants will be taug
 ht about welding safety\, plasma cutting and GMAW (MIG welding). Demonstra
 tions and practice time are provided. \n 	We provide a small group setting
  of usually no more than 12 people so that everyone can get the individual
  instruction and attention they need.\n 	We provide all safety gear includ
 ing safety glasses\, welding jackets\, gloves and welding helmets.\n 	This
  class is co-ed.\n 	Children are permitted to register\; so far\, we have 
 taught kids as young as 6 years old but only you know how mature your chil
 d is. (If you have a mature child under the age of 7\, please contact us s
 o we can discuss the possibility of participation.) Children under the age
  of 14 are asked to register and participate with an adult.\n 	WHAT TO WEA
 R: jeans\, cotton t-shirt and closed-toe shoes (leather shoes or boots pre
 ferred\; tennis shoes are OK\; no sandals)\; please ensure ankles and feet
  are completely covered.\n 	FYI: if you already have your own safety glass
 es that fit you perfectly\, you are welcome to bring them. Otherwise\, we 
 provide standard ANSI-approved safety glasses that are yours to take home.
 \n 	Water\, tea and light refreshments will be provided.\n\nCost: $48\, in
 cludes instruction\, all class materials\, use of safety gear &amp\; equip
